The Rockets are gearing up for the Nedbank Cup final against Durban City on Saturday, with Parker having already overseen one match – a draw against Magesi FC in the Betway Premiership last weekend.
Mbunjana said the squad has responded positively to the change in leadership following the departure of Adnan Beganovic, adding that Parker’s familiarity with the group has made the adjustment easier.
"We are trying as much as possible to adapt to coach Parker's tactics and alterations so I can say so far everything is going fine. Football is the same its just the setup, the tactics and those few things," said Mbunjana
"Coach Parker has been with us since coach Bega [Beganovic] was still here. So the principles are the same it's just the setup that could be different but other than that everything is the same."
"It's not much of alterations and not much of a big gap between him and coach Bega so we are adapting to what he wants. It's not going to be as difficult as people think it's going to be."

On facing City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, the midfielder added that it will have little to do with tactics.
Mbunjana strongly holds the view that winning the cup could also be a turning point for Galaxy, who have gone 11 games without a win in the league.
The 35-year-old desperately wants to add a trophy to his illustrious career, especially with a club he has served for six seasons.
