Ndlovu is a midfielder who joined Chiefs during the off-season from SuperSport United (now Siwelele FC).
"This move to Chiefs was inspired by my dad, and I thought it was the right time to make the move because it has been long overdue. I am very happy to be here."
For Ndlovu, the timing of the move could not have been better, with the uncertainty about his previous team last season, and going back to a big club was a big opportunity. He now enters an environment where expectations are far greater, with the spotlight and pressure that naturally comes with playing for Chiefs.
"Kaizer Chiefs is a huge institution to be a part of. My previous experience has really helped me to arrive here with ambition, belief, and confidence in my abilities."
Ndlovu’s career decisions have often revolved around the quest for game time. When Mamelodi Sundowns and Pirates were tussling for his services, he opted for the Bucs move because of playing time reservations.
Chiefs face Sekhukhune United at FNB Stadium tonight in a fixture that promises to test their credentials early in the season.
"It is a difficult encounter because Sekhukhune have so many threats, from their set-pieces to certain skillful individuals.
"But we have prepared perfectly for them, and we are looking forward to the challenge. This season is a marathon, and we are focused on ourselves right now," concluded the new Glamour Boy.
