SABC Sport understands that visa complications were behind their travel challenges.
The Girabola side also refused to conduct their mandatory match-day minus-one training session at FNB Stadium yesterday, which is standard protocol in CAF competitions.
Without confirming their travelling challenges, Kabuscorp assistant coach Samy Matias revealed that there will be challenges to their starting line-up.
"Well it's normal to have new players in because we lost a player with a red card in the first leg, so, obviously this player will have to be replaced. So, there will be changes, for us with the advantage of 1-0, let's say that the match is actually 180 minutes and not 90, this is half time. We're here for the second half of the match, let's see what happens," Matias said.
Adding to the drama, Kabuscorp declined Chiefs’ offer of transport to the pre-match press conference, arriving more than half an hour late when most of the media had already left.
They had also earlier declined to use the bus that Chiefs had allocated to them. Speaking through an interpreter, club representatives also refused to answer questions regarding their behaviour.
"First and foremost, I wanna thank the hospitality of Kaizer Chiefs and apologise for our delay, I don't think the coach will answer that question because it's not his department,” the interpreter said.
“We are here to talk about the match, can we talk about the match. It is not compulsory at this stage to train at the official venue and the transport is not part of the game. If we can talk about the game, yes, if you want to talk about the external staff outside of the game then you won't get an answer."
