Richards Bay secured the Premier Soccer League’s approval to host the fixture at the stadium during the FIFA break, following months of attempts to move their home games there.
Beganovic says The Rockets have done all they can to prepare for the new surface, but the true test will only come once they step onto the pitch.
"How can I check? We check on the internet, and on Google Maps, and then we ask the management about the condition, and probably I hope we can play our game because it's very important for us to have a good field because we don't like to use long balls in the game," said Beganovic.
"We have our structure and our philosophy, and we want to follow that, so I hope the conditions are good and it allows us to play beautiful football."
Galaxy will move up to fourth place with a win, and Beganovic is confident they are ready to pick up where they left off prior to the international break.
"In the last 15 days, we've prepared our team to make sure our players have better fitness and also [did some work] tactically, but it was very important for us," he added.
"For [today], it's a little bit tricky because it's not usual to prepare our team for both solutions of how Richards Bay play, and I'm so happy with what I've seen in training.
"I think we can respond well, and we're going there to take something – I always say if we just play like we trained in the last 15 days, if we prepare ourselves for the game, we can expect to take something."
