The Bulls strengthened their Vodacom United Rugby Championship (URC) playoff hopes with a hard-fought 16-13 win at Thomond Park on Saturday.
It’s the first time a South African team has beaten all four Irish provinces in one season.
White says the victory keeps them on track and boosts their confidence for the road ahead.
"I knew it was going to be an 80-minute slog, and I knew it was going to be one of those games that go to the wire. We needed this sort of momentum going into the playoffs.
"Next week, it doesn't get any easier, we play Glasgow, who beat us in the final. What we couldn't afford is to go and play badly today, and then go into next week having played and lost to Edinburgh and then lost to Munster.
"So from a momentum, confidence, and log position point of view, we are obviously very happy," noted the Bulls Director of Rugby.
Reflecting on the game, White praised his side’s defensive grit and discipline, especially their ability to stay out of penalty trouble. He adds that they need to replicate this effort if they are to keep winning.
With the URC season heading into its final stretch, the Bulls’ resilience and game plan will be key to their title ambitions.
Next up: defending champions Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun Stadium. After that, they return to Loftus Versfeld to face Cardiff and the Dragons.
White believes his team has the hunger to go all the way.
"When you combine a desire to win and talent, as we've shown in the last couple of years, and our team growing older and maturing, it's going to be something that I'm sure we can use in our favour going into these big games," said White excitedly.
