This was after a player-of-the-match performance from Muthusamy in their second match of the tournament against Western Province at Newlands yesterday, where they stormed to a 5-wicket victory.
It followed another impressive 6-wicket win over the Dolphins to open their account on Friday.
He says they still have some improvement to do with both bat and ball.
"We have started the competition really well, and we've playing good consistent cricket, there are a few areas we need to touch up on with the ball and we can probably be a bit more clinical with the bat, but there's room for improvement."
Chasing 244 posted by the home side earlier on, the Warriors never looked in any real panic even after losing wickets at the top of the order.
Muthusamy then posted a top score of 61 and was well supported by Jean du Plessis with a well-played 46.
He pointed to that partnership in particular as one that helped stabilise their innings and win the game for them.
"I came out a bit later in the game with the ball, and it was really about building a bit of pressure from one side and giving some control back to our innings.
"Then with the bat, we obviously lost a couple of wickets in succession and we were a little bit under pressure so it was important to build a partnership with Jean in order to create some momentum and set up the back-phase of the game," explained the skipper.
Muthusamy and his team are on the road again in their next match as they travel to the highveld to take on the Lions.
He has cautioned his teammates to not take things for granted, and says they still need to clean up their performances as the competition gains momentum.
