Tuks will be chasing redemption, as they come into this fixture on the back of three back-to-back defeats, against TUT Matsatsantsa Ladies, TS Galaxy and the recent 3-2 loss to Royal Am.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Khumalo adds that they will have to hold their own against the experienced Bedfordview outfit.
“It’s gonna be a competitive encounter and it’s gonna be a very challenging one in the sense that we are coming back from back-to-back losses. Three losses in a row, so, we are gonna be there fighting as a team to redeem ourselves,” Khumalo said.
“We know that it’s not gonna be easy because we know JVW has experienced players. So, that kind of things but other than that, it’s gonna be 11 v 11, we just have to go there and fight.”
Khumalo says they have done their homework regarding JVW, stating that it is a team that seems to be responding well to coach Janine van Wyk’s philosophy and believes it will take courage to disrupt them.
“I feel like they have more combination play and understanding what of they are doing. So, I feel like it’s more of what she’s telling or what she’s teaching them in terms of understanding her philosophy. I feel like she’s building something and I feel like the players are responding to it.”
