JVW is the only team in the league so far that has managed to claim maximum points against the Mpumalanga outfit.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Magagula admits that JVW is a tough side to face but says their mandate to collect three at home remains.
“JVW is a very competitive team but we have one mandate and that is to give it our all and collect 3 points and keep a clean sheet. Yes, we only lost one game against them, but our team performance is incredible. And we will make sure that we always collect points from each game” said Magagula.
The veteran goalkeeper has enjoyed a decent season with the Rockets, and has kept the highest clean sheet currently. She says she is happy to be part of a team that has maintained good form and consistency in the past few years.
“I’m really happy with the performance and my contribution to the team and it is good to see that hard work does not go unnoticed. The team has shown great improvement in the past few years and it is an honour to be able to witness that at first hand,’’ said Magagula.
Magagula adds to praise coach Sizwe Sibiya, stating that he played a big role in helping her to become a better player.
“He is an incredible coach and helps each player to be at their best week in week out. Now I just need to make sure that I apply each and every principle of the game and help the defensive line to keep a clean sheet, motivate the team to score,’’ She expressed.
