Thembi Kgatlana left out of Banyana Banyana’s WAFCON squad

Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has trimmed down her Women’s Africa Cup of Nations preliminary squad and striker Thembi Kgatlana has been left out.

According to a statement by the South African Football Association [SAFA], Kgatlana will miss out in the WAFCON due to personal reasons.

Hildah Magaia will also only join the camp late due to her medical assessment.

The national team is drawn in Group B alongside, Ghana, Mali and Tanzania.

The final squad announcement will be in made on 23 June.
