This after scooping the Coach of the Year award nomination, alongside JVW FC’s Janine van Vyk and Godfrey Sapula of Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Sibiya says this is attestment to the Rockets consistency in the five past seasons.
"Honestly it is an honour, I'm very grateful to be nominated for such a huge award. As a coach it always brings some form of revived strength for a lack of a better word to say that your work is being recognised but I’m excited,” Sibiya said.
“It also speaks to consistency, ever since its first season, TS Galaxy has never been outside top five. The worst position that TS Galaxy has gotten was number four."
Sibiya has also praised the fellow nominees in the Coach of the Year category, stating that they both have been impressive as first time head coaches in the Hollywoodbets Super League.
"To the other coaches, congratulations to God Father, congratulations to Janine. I mean in the first season, it's not every day that a coach in their first season does well as head coach,” the coach added.
“If I am to look at Janine, Janine was the assistant, now the head coach but it's not every day. Also, the transition of Godfather from the men's side to the women's side, it's never easy.
“I think if you can find time and sit down with him and ask him, how easy or how difficult it is to coach girls from where he has coached before, I'm telling you, he'll be singing the same song to say it's not as easy as people think it is to manage women but congrats to them. They've done well."
Three TS Galaxy players have also secured key nominations - their striker Leandra Smeda with two nominations for Top Goalscorer and Player of the Season, Dineo Magagula for Goalkeeper of the Tournament and Precious Seshweni for Defender of the Tournament.
