Smeda is currently one of the top goal scorers in the Hollywoodbets Super League, even with Boitumelo Rabele of Mamelodi Sundowns on eight goals.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Smeda says doing the right things at training and getting support from her teammates is yielding good results.
"I have been having a good campaign so far, it feels good being one of the top goalscorers in the league currently. I think I'm tied now with Rabale from Sundowns. I think it's just doing the right things in training and pushing myself,” Smeda said.
“Also, just being confident whenever I play and also having the support of my teammates. I think it has helped me with my form so far."
Smeda joined the Mpumalanga outfit earlier this year to help the team to glory in the current campaign, after finishing in the top three for the past three seasons.
She says she is happy to be settling well and hopes to win the league with the club.
"I am enjoying my stay at TS Galaxy so far, I'm happy, it's been good. What I'd like to achieve with the team is we'd like to win the league. I think the team for the past three seasons they've been mostly top three finishers in the league, so hopefully this season we can challenge for the top spot. So, that's the goal and hopefully we achieve it as a team," she added.
The 36-year-old comes into the TS Galaxy squad as a seasoned campaigner, with 100 national team caps.
The Rockets face Copperbelts on Sunday morning.
Smeda shares her expectations ahead of the clash.
"It is an early game, I think it's at 11:00, so I think it's gonna be a difficult game. Playing away is always difficult but I look forward to the challenge. Hopefully I can add more goals into my name but the main goal is for us to get three points so we can keep taking it game by game and grow from there."
