Having left the country as a two-year-old with his parents for England, the 27-year-old didn’t have a South African ID nor a passport, something that has since been sorted out.
Ahead of their game against City tomorrow evening at FNB Stadium, Kaze confirms the availability of other players, including Paseka Mako and Pule Mmodi.
"Good thing, we didn't have any injury from last game or any suspension and as well we're gonna have a couple of players back from our various reasons. Mmodi is back from his suspension, Ethan is available for his selection after his paper work has been resolved,” Kaze said.
“Mako as well is available for selection after being with the medical staff and I think that we are in a very good space for tomorrow."
Chiefs didn’t have a good home record last season, as they only managed to pick up 19 points from 14 matches, with just five wins, four draws and five losses.
It’s something Kaze says they need to rectify, starting with tomorrow’s game.
"We need to do everything to put ourselves in good condition heading to tomorrow's game. It's our first home game in front of our fans and we know what we have been lacking last season, the consistency,” he added.
“Which is why tomorrow's game for us is very important, we are very focused, everyone, the players, the technical staff, the management, we know the importance of tomorrow's game."
Last season, Polokwane City proved to be one of the most challenging teams for Chiefs to overcome, as they struggled to secure a win against them.
Rise and Shine collected four points against Amakhosi, with a win at home and a draw at FNB Stadium.
