The Bedfordview-based outfit come into this match looking to maintain their good form, having gone without a defeat in their last three outings.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Wade says it is always tough playing at Kwanyamazane Stadium and this will require the team to also be clinical in front of goals.
“We know it’s going to be a tough match away from home. TS Galaxy have really been on form recently, and we know they’ll be looking for maximum points, especially after we beat them in the first round,” said Wade.
“For us, it’s about sticking to our game plan, staying defensively disciplined, and being clinical when chances come our way. If we focus on executing our plan and giving it our best then that’s all we can do.”
JVW managed to secure a point against TUT Matsatsantsa this past weekend, with Wade claiming the player of the match accolade, and she credits the entire team for showing up against a tough TUT side.
“It’s always an honour to be recognised as Player of the Match, but for me it’s more about the team’s performance. I thought we played some really beautiful football, and were in control for most of the game,” she added.
“Unfortunately we weren’t able to convert our chances and credit to TUT for making use of their opportunity.”
JVW owner Janine van Wyk took over the team as head coach at the beginning of the season, succeeding Mitchell Stevens, and Wade believes the former Banyana Banyana captain has transformed the team for the better.
“Janine has brought invaluable experience and leadership to the team and I think that’s reflected in our performances.
“She leads by example both on and off the field and continuously makes an effort to create an environment where players can grow, be challenged, and flourish,’’ she concluded.
