Chiefs will play against third-placed Zebra Force at the Village in Naturena on Saturday before taking on FC Raycon Ladies on Sunday.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Qhekeka says the team is targeting maximum points to regain momentum.
“We’re going for maximum points and a big scoreline to regain the momentum. It’s all about hunger, teamwork and aggression from the first minute to the last, so we’re fully prepared for this weekend’s fixtures,” said Qhekeka.
Chiefs have suffered just one defeat in six home matches this season, and Qhekeka believes their strong home record gives the team added confidence heading into the weekend.
“Home games are always special for us. We know the pitch and the environment inside out, and that familiarity gives us a real advantage. Every team we face comes in with one mindset – they want to beat Chiefs. I use that as fuel. Playing for Chiefs is a real honour,” added Qhekeka.
The 20-year-old added that the club’s long-term ambition is to secure promotion to the Hollywoodbets Super League at the first attempt before competing on the continental stage.
“My goal is to see the team earn promotion to the Hollywoodbets Super League in our first season. From there, I want us to compete in major tournaments like COSAFA and the CAF Women’s Champions League,” she expressed.
