Gianluigi Donnarumma's PSG future in the balance amid Man Utd, Inter interest

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma faces an uncertain future as contract renewal talks have stalled, with just one year remaining on his current deal.

The 26-year-old Italian, who joined PSG from AC Milan five years ago on a free transfer, has expressed his desire to remain in Paris.

"My priority is to stay at PSG. I don't think there will be problems in the negotiations," said Donnarumma.

Despite his optimism, discussions have yet to yield a breakthrough, prompting interest from top European clubs. Inter Milan and Manchester United are both monitoring the situation closely.

United, under new manager Ruben Amorim, are reportedly seeking an upgrade on Andre Onana, while Inter view Donnarumma as a strong market opportunity amid PSG's contract standstill.

Donnarumma's agent, Enzo Raiola, has already been contacted by both clubs, adding weight to speculation.

However, PSG remain determined to retain their No. 1, with Sporting Director Luis Campos confirming that talks will resume with Donnarumma's representatives soon.

Should the negotiations ultimately falter, PSG have identified a potential replacement in Lucas Chevalier. The Lille goalkeeper has enjoyed a standout season and is now France's second-choice international.

His emergence provides PSG with a viable contingency, though the club's preference is clearly to keep the Italian international, who has firmly established himself as Italy's No. 1.
