The Winelands outfit were without new signings Mosa Lebusa, Tshegofatso Mabaso and Wonderboy Makhubu during their Nedbank Cup exit to Golden Arrows at the weekend.
With a quick turnaround before facing Amakhosi, Hunt is eager to bolster his options for the showdown as Stellenbosch look to bounce back.
"Mabasa, Lebusa, who else and obviously we got a red card, Lebusa, his face is like [injured] and Mabasa has got a little medical problem. Players that we could use but I mean I played left back, centre back and he was brilliant, so we're just gonna do what we have to do," Hunt said.
With defender Thabo Moloisane now serving suspension following his red card against Arrows on Saturday night, Hunt could throw another recent arrival Olisa Ndah in his place for his Stellies debut.
"You can't get a settled team, we are pretty settled but I mean if you take a team that beat Chiefs a couple of weeks ago, there are still one or two off that I think could help us but right now we are gonna need everybody for Tuesday. Hopefully I get Ndah, hopefully he'll be ready for us on Tuesday," the coach added.
Hunt also pointed out that Chiefs will have the advantage as a more “well-rested” team in comparison to how busy Stellies’ schedule has been.
"Well, this time of the year, I mean we'll play a game on Tuesday against Chiefs. They've played one in 10 days, we've played four in eight days and travelled Congo and all of that so it just happens like that and we just gonna take it and move on. So, we'll see what happens."
