The 26-year-old suffered a severe laceration on his right thumb after colliding with the advertising hoardings in the 76th minute of the game at Liverpool.
Lang received oxygen before being taken off the field on a stretcher. He subsequently underwent surgery on the injury at Whiston Hospital. "We made a complaint to UEFA representatives after the match,” Yazgan said. “They also made their investigations. UEFA will evaluate the issue.
“We are in talks with lawyers. We will file a lawsuit for compensation to UEFA. We will ask for our victimisation in terms of salary to be eliminated."
Lang's surgery reportedly went well, but Galatasaray were infuriated by what they felt were a series of injustices on a damaging night at Anfield.
Stiker's injury adds to Galatasaray's woes
Liverpool were rated as the favourites to progress to the quarter-finals by oddsmakers despite trailing 1-0 after the first leg.
They secured their place in the last eight with a 4-0 victory in the reverse fixture, and while they are still 10/1 to lift the Champions League by betting platforms such as Monopoly Casino, the major talking point from Wednesday were some questionable decisions by the match officials.
Referee Pawel Raczkowski allowed Ibrahima Konate to repeatedly manhandle Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen without any repercussions.
The Nigerian striker went down holding his right arm following a challenge by Konate in the eighth minute, and he was eventually substituted at half-time.
Subsequent tests revealed that he had sustained a fracture in his forearm, and a decision regarding surgery will be made after further evaluation over the next few days.
Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk took aim at Raczkowski after the game, claiming that Konate should have been punished for his aggressive actions.
"Looking at Osimhen's position, we saw that Konate was able to commit these fouls very easily, he could easily apply any kind of foul," Buruk said.
"While we were expecting the best referee in the world, perhaps one of the worst referees officiated the game."
Buruk concerned by Gala's performance
While the injuries did not help Galatasaray's cause, Buruk felt that his players had collectively not done themselves justice during the game at Anfield.
Liverpool have been hugely inconsistent this season, but the Turkish side made life relatively easy for them. The manager could not hide his disappointment. “It was a game Liverpool deserved to win and I'd like to congratulate them,” Buruk added. “They have qualified but in this game we couldn't do exactly what we wanted.
“I thought we played very bad. But I don't want to single out any player. When you're 1-0 down at half-time and your keeper has just saved a penalty, our performance should have been better in the second half but it was even worse.
“Liverpool have a lot of experience and an away game here is not easy. But our away performances and home performances in the Champions League have been very different.”
With their Champions League participation now over for this season, Galatasaray will switch their attention back to domestic duties in Turkey.
They are currently top of the Super Lig standings, four points clear of Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor. However, they still have to play both of their title rivals on the run-in.
Buruk will be desperate to have Lang and Osimhen available when Galatasaray return to action at Trabzonspor on April 5.
