The league will now be divided into two formats which is the Super Rise group as well as the Super Era side.
The debutants will take on Hollywoodbets Super League champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies and Baloyi believes they can deliver a great performance.
“You never know, this is football, what happened last season, doesn’t mean that it’s gonna happen this season as well. So we’re gonna try and push ourselves and do more talking in the field of play,” Baloyi said.
“We are looking forward to also causing an upset as well even though we know that we are new in the league but I’m sure our players are ready for the task at hand to make sure that we keep the status and even make sure that we even gun for top six or top four.”
The former Banyana Banyana star currently holds CAF A and CAF B licences and also made a name for herself in the USSA’s where she led the University of Johannesburg to victory in 2018 and also successfully defended the title in 2019.
She says they know what they need to do as a team not to avoid relegation.
“We know what we have to do as a team to ensure that we stay in the league and we have been working very hard as a team trying to make sure that we form a team that will compete in the league and not just there to add numbers,” the coach explained.
“We have a team that is full of experience and also has inexperienced players but we are trying to gel both the experienced and inexperienced players to ensure that we have a team that can compete.”
