Danny Jordaan and Desiree Ellis wish the Springboks well in Rugby World Cup final against New Zealand

South African Football Association (SAFA) President Dr. Danny Jordaan has extended his heartfelt wishes to the Springboks in anticipation of the Rugby World Cup final clash with New Zealand in France, scheduled for tonight at 8 p.m.

It is worth noting that both nations have claimed victory in the tournament three times. Jordaan exudes optimism and envisions a historic moment in which the Boks will etch their names in the annals of Rugby World Cup history securing an unprecedented fourth title.

He stands ready to fervently support them in their quest to bring glory to the nation during this momentous showdown.

"Congratulations to the Springboks as well as to the Proteas. Excellent fightback from the Springboks. They held on in the end, the nerves. Our nerves were gone but their nerves seem to be made of steel. So, we want to wish them all the best for the final," Jordaan said.

Conversely, Desiree Ellis, the coach of Banyana Banyana, has taken a moment to convey her best wishes to the Springboks in anticipation of their significant final showdown against New Zealand.

Despite being fully engrossed in the preparations for Banyana’s second-leg Olympic Games qualifiers against the Democratic Republic of Congo, scheduled for Monday at Orlando Stadium, Ellis graciously extended her support to the Boks.

"I posted something on social media. Siya [Kolisi] actually texted us before when we were at the World Cup. I mean my sister was telling me the game had them on the edge of sit but not as bad as the Italian game but I was walking around alone in my room because it was just one point and I was saying 'Don't give away a penalty, don't give away a penalty'.  Their grit, the determination, the willingness to fight for each other and most importantly to fight for the people back home is the culture we have. So, I would like to wish Siya, coach Nienaber [Jacques], Rassie [Erasmus], the players, all the best to the boys. We'll be chearing from South Africa."
