Mosiako reclaimed his national 21km title in a time of 1:02:47.
The championship event was staged alongside the Foskor 21km race.
Running in the colours of Athletics Central North West, Mosiako repeated the triumph he first achieved in 2023.
The 30-year-old was previously expelled from the Ikamva Athletics Club in Gqeberha by former national coach of the year, Mike Mbambani, which left him coachless.
But the setback proved to be a blessing in disguise.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Mosiako said he’s confident in his ability to prepare for races independently.
"I must say, training alone comes as a relief. I've been running for a very long time, and through all of the ups and downs, I have come to know what it takes to be elite," declared Mosiako.
The North West province-born athlete, says regaining the title has done wonders for his confidence heading into the rest of the season.
With two national half-marathon titles now under his belt, he believes the victory has reignited his self-belief after a tough 2023.
"It was a really tough race, but I am so happy to announce my comeback. I can see the way forward now, and I'm confident in myself to execute in the future as well."
The Nedbank Running Club athlete credited his wife and close friends for helping him through a difficult chapter in his life.
Their unwavering support, he said, played a huge role in his return to top form.
"My wife has never stopped supporting me, and my club manager never backs down for me, and I'm immensely grateful for all of their support."
A former national 5000m champion, Mosiako went into the race as one of the favourites and had one clear objective: finish in the top three to qualify for the world championships.
He did more than that — he won it.
