However, she remains confident in her ability to handle the pressure of a busy calendar with races taking place across the country.
In an interview with SABC Sport, the Boxer Running Club star, who is coached by Caster Semenya and her partner, Violet Semenya, shared that she relies on a training program developed by the two coaches.
Xaba believes that a focused athlete can manage the demands of competing week in and week out.
"When you start the season, you need to plan according to the calendar of ASA, so that it won't break you. Yes, the schedule is very packed, but you must make sure that you are focused, disciplined, and determined," stated Xaba.
Although Xaba has competed in over five events this year, she maintains that she is not fatigued. With her sights set on the upcoming ASA Senior Track and Field Championships in Potchefstroom next week, she plans to tackle the 1500m and 5000m events.
Of the six races she has participated in this year, Xaba has won five and is determined to win more.
"I'm not over racing yet. If it were June or July, and you asked me if I'm over racing, I would've maybe said yes, but on my side, I'm not over racing. It's all about what I plan with my coaches," asserted Xaba.
The South African marathon and 10km record holder also believes that she has a well-thought-out plan to manage the demanding schedule, which might overwhelm others.
With a relaxed mindset, she's confident in her ability to handle the pressure of a busy fixture schedule.
