Jafta says they have full trust in the process and what coach Mandla Mashimbyi decides in terms of the eleven on the field.
She believes they have done adequate preparation for the tournament, which will eventually become evident in the results.
"For us as a team we trust the coach and the lovely thing about us is that we're versatile. If you say we're going to have the same eleven each time the coach will just giggle. With him the one thing that he stressed is trust the process."
Jafta says they are constantly reminded to just stay in the moment and focus on doing the basics right, regardless of the opponents they’re facing. South Africa defeated Pakistan in their bilateral series at home earlier this year, and will go into this one with a slight psychological advantage.
"The coach things ahead for us, while we have been asked to remain present because we all know it's tournament cricket anything can happen, but for us as a team we just want to focus on what we do well."
She also spoke of their ability to bat deep into their innings as one of the aces up their sleeves, saying they’ve got different individuals who can contribute to their total.
