Sead Ramovic wants experts to give TS Galaxy more credit

TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic says his players deserve more credit from television pundits following their four-game winning streak in all competitions.

The Rockets have also moved back into the DStv Premiership Top 8 as a result and progressed to the round of 16 in the Nedbank Cup after eliminating Golden Arrows on Friday night in Durban.

Ramovic believes their consistency has earned more recognition.

"Absolutely right, I think that [it’s about] my players, it's not about me, I don't want any credit, I don't want anything. I am the smallest part in this one, I have to give a lot of credit to my staff, to the whole club and team but the players are the guys that do the job and I believe so what you say, they don't get the credit what the deserve," Ramovic said.

Galaxy were finalists in the Carling Black Label Cup but lost on penalties to Stellenbosch FC at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in December.

According to Ramovic, their critics didn’t think they’d bounce back.

"We came into the final, we played well, we were very unlucky to lose the final. After that many of the experts, they thought that we would drop down after this kind of mental game that we lost but then you can see how the team now reacted. Five games in a row to win in this league again is not easy at all," Ramovic added.

The Serbian mentor questioned why The Rockets were not currently the talk of the town considering their cup run as well as their strides in the league too.

"I'm pretty sure that if any other team would win five games in a row it would be big headlines and big things. I think that it's time that the experts again, I don't know why they don't want to talk about my players, I don't know but they deserve a lot of attention a lot of credit because if you see again our left back has six assists, show me one left back in our league that has more assists.

“Sanoka [Pogiso], Killer [Macbeth Mahlangu], Marks [Munyai] now I think that we in the last six five games, we just conceded two goals, three goals I'm not sure, it talks to them."
