Richards Bay FC coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi warns Hunt ahead of cup battle

Richards Bay FC coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi feels Supersport United will be under pressure when they battle out in the Nedbank Cup last 16 on Saturday, at King Zwelithini Stadium.

Kanu has enjoyed a good record against Matsatsatsa, having won their last three encounters in the league with three different clubs

Vilakazi boldly stated that coach Gavin Hunt should be concerned.

''I know it is not going to be an easy one, also when you look at me and the coach - he is very much unfortunate, I beat him three times consecutively and I am sure he is concerned that he will be facing me again,'' said Vilakazi

The Natal Rich Boys are second from bottom in the DSTV Premiership, Vilakazi admits concerns and shared what he has been telling his players about the importance of surviving.

He says their livelihood is at stake and they should not worry about Cape Town Spurs, who have found their form.

''I am concerned, and I always tell my players that they should grab the opportunity of playing in the PSL. I mean, when you look at the numbers mathematically, you can see that we do stand a chance to turn the corner,'' added Vilakazi.

Despite playing good football, the Natal Rich Boys are struggling to get maximum points.

Vilakazi says defense and attack have been their challenge, with the hope that against Matsatsatsa they can work on it.

''I think it is a different story now, right now the team is playing good football, but good football is not enough - one needs results to move to the next level. We just need to finetune our attack to get results,'' he concluded.
