Siwelele will officially complete their relocation to Bloemfontein next season after spending the 2025/26 campaign travelling between Gauteng and the Free State during the transition period after the purchase of SuperSport United.
Seema revealed that nothing happened without his involvement.
"Everyone, the chairman and the CEO did all they could to help the team. They tried, and the one thing I must say is that I've been working for a very long time where I am involved, and anything that has to do with the team they involve me in. All the decisions they have taken that are going to affect the team - I can tell you that there was nothing that I saw just happening; they are always talking," said Seema
The coach also revealed that it was the players who asked not to play their home matches at the Lucas Moripe Stadium after their close brush with relegation the previous season.
"We discussed, and the main thing was that the players we got from SuperSport, per se, were struggling, especially mentally, after what happened the previous season."
"You could see trauma in them. It took a lot for us to take them out of there and transform the players themselves. They said, 'Look, we don't want to play at Lucas Masterpieces,' and then I said, 'Why?' They responded, 'Coach, remember the last time we won a game there, and the fixtures were already done?' "
"I quickly rushed to management and pleaded with them . [Coltrain Munyai] is our team manager-that's another plus for keeping him here because he knows how things are done. He could apply on time so that the league allowed us to change immediately . I told the chairman, 'If the players are saying they are not going to win games there and we have games there, that's a problem already."
With Siwelele only losing two of their 15 league games at home this season, Seema’s plan proved a masterstroke.
It’s mission accomplished now as the team has retained their status in the topflight with Seema sure that they can only improve going forward.
He credited the playing personnel.
