Bayern travel to Atletico Madrid for their Champions League clash on Tuesday with several important players unavailable, but Kane insists the squad remains focused.
The England striker experienced a personal highlight last week when he won the Ballon d'Or, but the celebrations were overshadowed by Kompany's collapse during a training session three days later.
The Bayern coach was rushed to hospital after being diagnosed with meningeal irritation. He has since been discharged but is expected to remain on the sidelines for some time.
Bayern have also suffered further injury setbacks following Saturday's 2-2 Bundesliga draw against Borussia Dortmund.
Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry both picked up injuries, with Saibari requiring surgery. Jamal Musiala and Luis Diaz remain unavailable as they continue their recoveries.
Kane described the past week as an emotional rollercoaster but believes the difficult circumstances have strengthened the team's unity.
"It was a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions on every end," Kane told reporters ahead of the Atletico match.
"A big high for me personally last week, some lows with the boss and the injuries. A lot of extremes. We had to deal with that, and it brought us closer together."
Kane also admitted that Bayern must remain focused as they navigate a demanding period without several key figures.
The striker, who missed a penalty and hit the post against Dortmund in his first appearance since winning the Ballon d'Or, believes the current situation offers other players an opportunity to step forward.
"For now it is fight for every moment. We are missing some key players and our coach but it gives everyone an opportunity to prove themselves in this team," he said.
Bayern are hoping to welcome some injured players back after the international break later in November.
Kane also provided an encouraging update on his own future, revealing that he is "extremely close" to agreeing a contract extension with the German champions.
