The Hungary international won the award for the first time after receiving more than two-thirds of the supporters' vote on Liverpool's official website.
Szoboszlai was one of Liverpool's most reliable performers throughout the season. He started 53 of the club's 57 matches, demonstrating both consistency and versatility. While primarily operating in midfield, he also filled in at right-back when required, underlining his importance to the team.
The 25-year-old made a major impact in the final third, finishing the campaign with 13 goals and 12 assists, the highest assist tally in Liverpool's squad.
His performances earned regular recognition throughout the season. Szoboszlai collected the club's Standard Chartered Player of the Month award on five occasions and was named Carlsberg Player of the Match eight times.
He also produced several memorable moments in front of goal. Eight of his strikes were included in Liverpool's 20-man shortlist for the Men's Goal of the Season award, highlighting his ability to deliver spectacular finishes.
Among those goals were four direct free-kicks in Premier League matches, setting a new Liverpool record for the most free-kick goals scored by a player in a single Premier League campaign.
The season also brought another personal milestone. In April, during his third year at Anfield, Szoboszlai became only the second Hungarian player to reach 100 Premier League appearances.
