The Tshwane outfit has surpassed JVW for second place on the log with 18 points, this after their convincing 5-0 victory over the University of Cape Town on Saturday.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Kutumela says the team does not want to be complacent in its success but look to continue growing.
“It's such a great feeling to see the Team performing as expected. As technical Team we are happy and still looking forward to growing and building the Team to where it's supposed to be,’’ said Kutumela.
TUT has failed to claim top eight in the last two seasons of the national league.
Kutumela says that returning at the top has revived the team’s competitive edge.
“It feels good because we can see a lot of growth/improvement from the team compared to last season. It shows that we are all doing our part to get things right in order to reach our goal,’’ added Kutumela.
With five wins in nine outings, Kutumela shares what she believes has been the working formula for the team.
“It's always important to execute the goal/plan earlier than later, so that we are able to see where we need to rectify or perfect to get more success. We are United, committed, positive and dedicated. We make achievable goals and come up with strategies that work best for the Team,’’ she expressed.
