Banyana won two of their group stage games before playing a 1-1 draw against Lesotho.
October insists that she is confident they will make it to the final.
"Confidence is very high ahead of the game against Zimbabwe. We are experienced and we have a very good team, and we are very capable of going through to the final if we all put our minds to it."
Banyana finished top of Group A while October had a massive chance in the 10th minute through a setpiece but Lesotho goalkeeper Leneo Fanyane stopped her.
The Spurs WFC forward says she is honoured to finally make her debut in the national team.
"I made my debut against Lesotho, and the whole experience was incredible. The feeling of making my debut was out of this world and I felt really honoured to play for Banyana Banyana."
October plays for Sasol League side Spurs and she says she has learnt a lot in this Banyana camp.
Banyana internationals Thembi Kgatlana, Amogelang Motau (both Mexico-based), Linda Motlhalo (Scotland), Bongeka Gamede (Denmark), Jessica Wade (Finland) and Lebo Ramalepe joined the camp yesterday.
October says she became very emotional after meeting her role models.
"I cried yesterday when I saw Linda and them because it felt like a dream, but then reality hit me. The feeling is hard to explain," said the Banyana Banyana new girl.
