Lions brace for fierce derby contest at Ellis Park

"They are a quality team so we are expecting a massive battle from them, a strong set piece battle and a strong set-piece battle."

"We have been preparing well this week so far, but we have to pitch up on the day and have the guys ready to perform well this weekend. It's another game at home, which is always great."

"There were certain things we were happy with, like scoring a maul try. Scrum wise, we conceded too many penalties on our own ball which obviously turns over possession, and although it didn't cost us massively against the Sharks, it is something we have to work hard on to get right against the Stormers."

With the URC schedule resuming at full pace following the Six Nations, the race for playoff places is intensifying and every fixture carries added importance.
