Bulls sign fly-half Kade Wolhuter on loan from Lions until 2026

The Vodacom Bulls have secured flyhalf Kade Wolhuter on loan from the Lions, with the agreement running until June 30, 2026.

The 24-year-old, who came through Western Province's junior ranks, had been playing in Johannesburg since October 2023.

"I'm super excited," said Wolhuter, who completed his medicals at Loftus Versfeld last week. "My ambition is to get onto the pitch and start contributing, after which I'd like to have a proper tenure at the union."

Born in Durban in 2001, Wolhuter was a standout at Paul Roos and also spent time as a junior at Montpellier.

Vodacom Bulls CEO Edgar Rathbone welcomed the signing, adding: "We are thrilled to welcome Kade to Loftus. He's a talented young player with a proven track record at age-group and professional level, and his attitude will add real value to our squad during this important period for the team."
