This will be a repeat of the last final of the tournament in Barbados almost two years ago, when South Africa fell agonisingly short of the trophy as the Indians claimed their second crown.
Conrad says their opponents don’t have too much experience over them, and expects the absence of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to be felt in their camp.
"Pressure is a big thing you know, pressure both for us and them. I think we all talk about the pressure of playing against a top side but we are not quite aware of the pressures they're under,” Conrad said.
“I think they are an inexperienced side in World Cups, they're missing two of their huge players in Rohit and Virat so what that does for their one day side. If we can put them under any pressure, yes who knows but they've still got a wonderful side, their bowling attack obviously centres around [Jasprit] Bumrah and [Varun] Chakaravarthy.
“Their batting line up, they love their sixes, they love putting you under pressure from the first ball and if we can strike a few early blows with the ball and similarly withstand an early onslaught with the bat, then that will go a long way to giving us the right results."
Conrad admitted that the previous result does put some pressure on his team as well to get one of their nemesis.
He says it’s not only the high profile matches that teams have to win, as was evident in their group against Canada and Afghanistan.
"Yeah I don't think there's anything that takes pressure off, the pressure is always there. We saw the importance of winning against Canada and obviously the big game was the Afghanistan game and similarly here you know, you get off to a good start and you run with the momentum, all of a sudden you only need one more win and you are watching other results etcetera,” he added.
“I mean the team is in a really confident space, we know how important India is but if we get the right result, great. The West Indies then becomes the next biggest match and then that goes and then Zimbabwe becomes the next biggest match.
“As it stands right now we don't look past Sunday and it's the biggest match of our competition thus far, yes."
