Before yesterday’s 4-0 loss to Hollywoodbets Super League champions, TS Galaxy had only conceded 14 goals in 28 games.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Magagula says she is happy that they were able to achieve the goals they set for themselves this season.
"I think it was because of the team work, us being consistent with our games and knowing that if we get clean sheets for the first game, we can get more according to our coach's stats,” Magagula said.
“We also made sure we choose which game we are getting the cleansheets and not even choosing but fighting for every match that we get them.”
Magagula is not the only one who had a great season in her team, with her teammate Leandre Smeda, the Hollywoodbets Super League top goalscorer, contributing 22 goals.
TS Galaxy are currently third on the log table with 66 points and have a crucial fixture away to UWC on Wednesday.
Magugala says it was crucial for them to challenge themselves this season.
"Setting the bar very high for us, so that we know if we can't reach the end of it, we know we are in the middle and we achieved something along the way and it takes courage from each and every one of us,” she added.
“In the past seasons we didn't do well but we made sure that this season, we must break the record. From coming into the Super League three years ago, it means a lot where we are today and the points that we achieved, we must make sure that next year we get more points."
Galaxy have already surpassed their points from last year, having finished on 65 points. After their loss to Sundowns, they are still on 66 points with one match remaining.
