Mbule’s career is at a crossroads after Mamelodi Sundowns released him following a failed loan move to Sekhukhune United and episodes of ill-discipline off the field.
Ntshumayelo, who faced a career setback after a four-year drug ban prematurely ended his playing days, shared his personal experience as a warning to the 27-year-old.
"The honest truth is I still want him to play football, and I'll be brutally honest with him – if he thinks it won't happen to him because he's talented, it will happen and he will never even remember who he was," said Ntshumayelo.
"My advice is just to give yourself these 10 years – I'm begging him, because it's not nice not to have a job, or lose a job because of ill-discipline.
"You'll never find a job after because you lost your job because of ill-discipline, and I'm still fighting that [consequence] even today, even though I'm clean or I'm present, whatever, but it's so difficult.
"So my advice is – how old is he? [27] Just give himself seven years of discipline, and after that he can do whatever it is he wants to do."
Speaking during the launch of Clinix Stix Morewa soccer tournament, Ntshumayelo says there is no doubting Mbule’s talent, but without discipline, it’s not enough.
"I think from the Free State, we've never had a talent like that [Mbule], he's up there! I'm talking about talent only, obviously Teboho [Mokoena] and them, there are a lot of players from Free State, but with talent no one can touch Mbule," he added.
"But talent with no discipline? Imagine, I see myself, even if I'm clean, on a newspaper with Kagiso Rabada case, they show me, I think Jabu [Mahlangu], imagine? Like, you don't want to be [associated with such]."
