Babina Noko head into the clash on a five-match unbeaten run, which includes an emphatic 3-1 victory over KwaZulu-Natal rivals Richards Bay in the Carling Knockout last weekend.
Zothwane has hinted at making changes to his line-up, but knows Sekhukhune will need to be at their best against a Milford side that has already made a strong start in the division this season.
"Milford are doing very well so we have to prepare accordingly and we must maintain the consistency within the team. We also have to examine our schedule and our recovery process because we are travelling on Friday and playing on Saturday, followed by more travel and more matches."
The Sekhukhune mentor insisted that their current form was crucial to making the campaign a success following a turbulent start, which led to the parting of ways with Cedric Kaze after a handful of matches.
Zothwane is clear that there will be no room for complacency as everyone must fight to retain their spots in the team.
The coach also gave an update on captain Daniel Cardoso, who did not feature in their previous two matches.
"Cardoso was injured, but in his place other players stepped up. We have to manage Cardoso's load based on the intensity of matches, but I'm glad to say that he is back in training and doing well."
