Puso Dithejane dreaming big after bold exit from Chiefs

TS Galaxy attacker Puso Dithejane has opened up on his rise from the Kaizer Chiefs academy to one of the PSL’s standout performers, hoping to impress Bafana coach Hugo Broos ahead of the AFCON.

The 21-year-old knows his chances of making the final squad are slim, given Broos’ preference for an established core group, but that won’t stop him from trying.

Dithejane, who left Chiefs last year in controversial circumstances after refusing to serve as a ballboy for a senior team match, says his rapid rise at TS Galaxy proves his hunger and determination to succeed at the highest level.

The youngster praised his compatriots for getting Bafana to both the AFCON and the FIFA World Cup next year, an achievement that has him even more determined to join along the journey.

Dithejane says one of his inspirations is Galaxy teammate Khulumani Ndamane, also 21 and in the Bafana set-up.
