A loss for Stellies away from home would eliminate them from the competition with only one match against Singida Black Stars of Tanzania left, which would be a disappointing return given their run to the semi-finals last year.
Hunt revealed they will jet out of the country on Thursday to acclimatise.
"We'll arrive there on Friday, prepare on Saturday, and then we'll play on Sunday. We need a point because if we lose we are out, so we need something there and then we can try and win the next game," explained Hunt.
The game will be played at 3pm on an artificial turf in Oyo, and Hunt says the heat there might work against them.
He added that he also had a chat with CR Belouizdad coach Sead Ramovic about the conditions there.
"They made the game at the middle of the day on the astro turf so you can just imagine. I spoke to Ramovic and he said to me they were beaten 3-0 over there, and we lost to them 3-0, but he also mentioned how hot it is there.
"Anybody who has played on astro will know that it is a very different kind of game."
Meanwhile…Stellenbosch played their Nedbank Cup last 32 match against Kaizer Chiefs at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town, where the pitch was not to the coach’s liking despite their 2-1 victory.
He was happy that they’ll be playing their home league matches back at their more preferred Danie Craven Stadium.
