Chippa registered their first win of the season after beating Orbit College 2-1 in a Betway Premiership match at Buffalo City Stadium in East London on Tuesday.
The concept of playing from the back is popular in the country, but the Belgian tactician prefers a more direct approach.
"We've worked a lot physically and tactically to avoid this mistakes – if you saw against Pirates, how we conceded the first goal, Stanley [Nwabali] gave the ball again to number six [Sammy Seabi], it's a bad habit that had been taught by the previous people here," said Eymael.
"I don't think we have the players to play like that, like Sundowns, it's not like that. Do you know what happened at half-time of Bafana Bafana? Hugo Broos took one man like that and said, 'My man, if you continue to play like that, I'll take you off directly.'
"We don't have the players like Sundowns, we have to play with the players that we have. Our players have quality, they certainly also have weaknesses, but we have to minimise those weaknesses so we can increase the quality.
"If they play only with wingers, it's done, we won't concede silly goals after silly goals and lose more, so we'll work on that, and you can see we're also playing at a good pace."
Eymael is hoping to build on their four points from the first six matches of the season as they face an extended stay in Limpopo to visit Polokwane City on Sunday and Sekhukhune United next Wednesday.
"To continue, we now have two games away and we have to come back from there with some points. We play against Polokwane City, I'll be happy to see the boys there, and then against Sekhukhune, who is number one in the league," he added.
"And, for sure, we want to continue to collect points and continue to go higher on the table, which is very important."
