Jurgen Klopp gives high praise to Mo Salah after hat-trick against Galatasaray

The 34-year-old Salah found the net in the 4th, 44th and 80th minutes and also provided an assist as Trabzonspor smashed the holders for their third victory in six league games.

Klopp, who managed Salah at Liverpool and won every big trophy with the Egyptian in his forward line, praised the veteran for keeping his level high after leaving the Premier League.

"I feel something special whenever I talk about Mohamed Salah," Klopp said on Haberts. "I often ask myself how he maintains this level, despite his age. He scored his first hat-trick yesterday with Trabzonspor and the future will be better for him.

"He is playing his first season in Turkey and look what he is doing in the league Mohamed Salah is sweeping the Turkish league. Despite being a winger, he scores more goals than many strikers and helps his team achieve better results.

"No one can doubt Mohamed Salah until the match is over, because he is capable of making a difference at any moment.

"After Mohamed Salah's third goal, I stood up to applaud him. It was a great run and a perfect finish into the net. Mohamed Salah reminded me of our days at Liverpool and what he did there. He gave me back that confidence that makes me believe anything is possible."
