Desiree Ellis names Banyana squad to face USA in friendlies

Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has announced the final 23-member squad for this month’s International friendly games against the USA, with two new faces.

Lonathemba Mhlongo of the University of Western Cape comes in for injured Mamelodi Sundowns defender Bambanani Mbane, while captain Refiloe Jane is replaced by Noxolo Cesane’s US-based twin Sinoxolo.

The two games will take place on September 22 and 24 at TQL Stadium in Ohio and Soldier Field in Chicago.
