Galaxy head into Saturday’s clash against Durban City on the back of an 11-match winless run in the Betway Premiership, a sequence that has dented confidence within the squad.
Zindoga admits morale has been low during the difficult spell but insists a cup triumph could reignite belief and spark a late-season revival.
"I haven't been in South Africa for a long time, and last year with Marumo [Gallants], we got to the semifinal, and now in a final (with TS Galaxy), so I guess the teams that I have been at are doing well in the cup competition. Hopefully, we can go all the way and win the Nedbank Cup," said Zindoga.
"I think a win will honestly galvanize us; it might propel us in the last four games in the league. I think we have been doing well, and obviously now in difficult situations, we've been coming together as a team."
"We have been trying to bond and fix the little errors that we've been making to concede the goals, and hopefully, this will propel us to have a strong finish to the end of the season."
While the Galaxy outfit collectively do not have a lot of experience in cup finals, Zindoga did point out to a few that were there when The Rockets won the trophy in 2019 as the ones leading the way.
Durban City beat Galaxy twice in the league this season, results which have left Zindoga wary ahead of the cup final.
