Kaze was speaking after Amakhosi’s emphatic 4-1 victory over Orbit College in a Betway Premiership clash at the FNB Stadium last night.
A brace from man of the match Mduduzi Shabalala and further goals from Mfundo Vilakazi and Flavio Silva sealed back-to-back league wins for Chiefs.
The result lifted Amakhosi to 22 points after 11 games, level with Mamelodi Sundowns at the top of the table, though they sit second due to an inferior goal difference.
"We have been having a lot of games as well so mentally the players need to take some pressure off but the biggest thing is, we need us, everyone, to keep our feet on the ground,” Kaze said.
“We need to be humble, we need to work very hard because we have not arrived yet. I know here you win one game, you are the God of football. You lose or you draw one game, you are a plumber or whatever.
“Even in this situation we need to be very concise in our message to the players. We need to be very humble, we need to work hard because the season is still so far away and it's in our best interest to keep our momentum."
It was the first time in over a year that Chiefs had scored four goals in a single match.
Kaze says they applied themselves very well in this game, especially in the second half.
"We believe that we got into the game with the right attitude, the right mentality. Able to press, able to play forward, able to find spaces. We scored very early but I feel that after maybe 20, 25 minutes we took our foot off the paddle and we allowed the opponents to be comfortable in the build up, the preparation and to get into dangerous areas,” the coach added.
“In the second half we came with the right attitude as well, the right mentality because those kinds of games are not easy, you have to have the right mentality to play well.
“We scored the second goal, unfortunately we conceded in a moment that I believe as well we were not managing our game well but we scored right after. Four goals, I believe it's the first time I'm here in the league where we scored four goals. I'm very happy, I'm happy as well with the three points."
