CAF Confederation Cup wrap: Sekhukhune win but SuperSport come unstuck again

SuperSport United suffered a second CAF Confederation Cup group stage loss as Sekhukhune United claimed all three points from their tie.

SuperSport United 0-2 USM Alger

SuperSport United went down 2-0 to USM Alger in their CAF Confederation Cup Group A clash on Sunday.

Saadi Radouani opened the scoring at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on just five minutes and Brahim Benzaza sealed the result with his goal on 56 minutes.

The result left SuperSport bottom of the standings with zero points and USM Alger top of the pile with six points from two games.

Sekhukhune United 2-1 Diables Noirs

Sekhukhune United recorded a 2-1 victory Diables Noirs in their CAF clash on Sunday.

Alves Ngakosso-Oko opened the scoring for the away side at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on 27 minutes.

Kamohelo Sithole levelled the score on the half hour mark and Daniel Cardoso netted a 44th minute winner.

Sekhukhune are third in Group D with three points, and Diables Noirs are bottom with zero points from two games.
