Asanda joined the Hollywoodbets Super League Champions from Sasol League side, Sunflower FC on 22 March.

She is Sundowns’ third signing this season after the Brazilians also added Nthabiseng Majiya and Cimone Sauls.

Hadebe says coach Jerry Tshabalala’s mandate is for her to score more goals for the team.

''I don't want to lie, they are all taking good care of me. The only thing coach Jerry wants  from me is to play well and score goals,'' said Hadebe.

Hadebe was scouted by Sundowns when she participated in the Engen Knockout challenge in Durban with Sunflower where they lost the final to former Rivalries and Hollywoodbets Super League side Durban Ladies last year.

She shares details of how she completed the move to the Brazilians.

''They scouted me at the Engen tournament in KZN, one guy who works there assisted with the process,'' added Hadebe.

Hadebe made her senior debut during the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Mozambique in October 2021 at the age of 16.

She says her resilience earned her a spot in the Banyana preliminary squad as they prepare to face Nigeria in an Olympic Qualifier.

''It is the hard work I put in, I know that I have to push to get the success I want,'' she concluded.

The 19-year-old was introduced to sports by her father who was a footballer and her aunt who played netball, she adds that she’s a versatile player that can excel in any position.
