AmaZulu FC have secured the services of former Richards Bay striker Thabiso Kutumela, who joins Usuthu as a free agent following his exploits with the Bafana Bafana squad in the CHAN tournament.
The 32-year-old recently parted ways with Richards Bay after a single campaign in which he managed just 11 appearances and one goal.
Despite his struggles for game time at the Natal Rich Boyz, Kutumela remains a proven performer at the highest level and will be hoping to revive his career with Usuthu.
Usuthu have acted swiftly to bring in the experienced forward as they continue to bolster their squad for the 2025/2026 Betway Premiership season.
The former Baroka FC, Orlando Pirates, Maritzburg United, and Mamelodi Sundowns man was named Man of the Match in the 2-1 win over Guinea in the CHAN competition co-hosted by Tanzania and Uganda.
