AmaZulu FC president Sandile Zungu has confirmed some of the changes in the team ahead of the new season.

As reported by SABC Sport assistant Sboniso Vilakazi took charge of training sessions in the absence of a head coach, with Zungu confirming his official appointment.

"We have appointed Sboniso Vilakazi as one of our assistant coaches, the other will be unveiled soon", Zungu said.

Meanwhile, the MTN8 finalists have bolstered their squad for 2023/2024, while retaining some players.

"We have signed Victor Letsoalo from Sekhukhune United, on a swap deal with Rally Bawla has joined them. Ramahlwe Mphahlele has extended his stay with the club.”

The Durban-based side is also set to finalise the sporting director position, with the likes of Sudesh Singh, Maximilian Stumpf, Kabelo Bosilong and Shaun Bishop believed to be on the list of candidates to be interviewed.
