Arthur Zwane reveals biggest challenge at AmaZulu

AmaZulu coach Arthur Zwane says his biggest challenge in the coming weeks will be harnessing the momentum generated by an impressive start to their Betway Premiership campaign.

Usuthu sit just four points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, with a game in hand, having been boosted by the form of striker Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya and their ability to collect valuable points on the road.

Zwane, however, knows the hard work must continue after the FIFA break.

"This break is very important for us so that we can go back to the drawing board and evaluate ourselves to see where we're lacking, and so that we can start to work on those aspects of our game."

Zwane added that it was crucial that AmaZulu do not rely too much on Ngwenya, who has scored eight goals from seven league matches.

The coach believes the striker is capable of chasing the Golden Boot award.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Darren Johnson continues his recovery with Zwane making it clear that the player will be given ample time to regain full fitness following a ligament injury earlier this year.
