The Buccaneers mentor was speaking after their emphatic 4-1 victory over Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, in a cup tie he felt should have been decided by an even bigger margin.
Ouaddou explained why he wants his side to adopt a more ruthless edge.
"The data that shows how many times we shot at goal and the amount of chances we created, indicates that it wasn't enough. Some people might be surprised that the coach is not so happy, but you just have to look at the numbers because they don't lie. We need to finish."
Ouaddou’s frustration came from the realisation that goal-difference could be a major contributor in the Betway Premiership, hence he wants his charges getting into the habit of adding to their goal tally.
Meanwhile, his counterpart Lucky Nelukau said facing Pirates was like “following a crocodile into the river.”
"Yoh, it was not an easy game at all. I'm happy with the performance against the best team. Mind you, we followed the crocodile to fight them in the river.
"I was using nine or ten young players as well, so I'm happy to have given them chances because this was a great experience."
Nelukau agreed with Ouaddou’s assessment that Pirates should have scored more than just the four goals on the day.
