Luan Giliomee scores a brace as the Sharks start URC campaign with victory

The South African outfit took early early control of proceedings when skipper and No 8 Nick Hatton went over for the  game's opening try with Moyo adding the conversion.

Manu Tshiuka then went over for the second five-pointer for the Sharks before Luan Giliomee produced a superb solo effort to get his first try, as Moyo converted to give the hosts a commanding 21-0 lead.

The Ospreys hit back when wing Luke Morgan scored the Welsh team's first try but the Sharks restored their big advantage as Litelihle Beste won the race to a grubber and dotted down.

Theere was still in the first half for the Ospreys to pull another try back through Liam Wright but the home side took a 28-14 lead into the halftime break.

Gilliomee completed his brace after the interval while Moyo added two penalties as the Sharks looked convincing in their opening encounter of the URC campaign.

The visitors got a consolation try through fullback Lestyn Hopkins but the Welsh side were outplayed, although they took a four-try bonus-point from the contest.
