This is after she made the final 15-player Under-21 national team squad, which is expected to represent South Africa at the upcoming Netball Youth World Cup in Gibraltar next month.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Diphoko says she also looks forward to seeing her team display top talent on the global stage.
"The World Cup is a huge milestone for us as a team. I am both nervous and excited for the competition and for the tough teams we are going to play against," said the rising star.
Diphoko earned her national team call-up after an outstanding season playing for Kokstad Jaguars Netball Club. She adds that making it to the final World Cup squad validates her hard work throughout the season.
"My selection for the World Cup validates all the hard work, dedication, and perseverance I've put in this year.
"Being part of the Spar Baby Proteas is a dream come true for me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to represent South Africa on the world stage," she said with pride.
The 18-year-old also mentioned that she is inspired by Spar Proteas star Kamogelo Maseko, and hopes to emulate her as she continues to grow in her career.
"Growing up, I always looked up to Kamogelo Maseko. Her work ethic, passion, and skill on the court inspired me to chase my Netball dream."
Diphoko shares her ambitions with just two weeks left before the World Cup.
"My goal is to contribute to the team's success, which I hope will be a podium finish."
